Description

A biographical sketch of J. C. Ferger. Mr. Ferger was the president and manager of the Fresno Fuel Company, as well as vice-president of the Swastika Lumber Company. He was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the city of Fresno. The yards and offices of his two companies were located adjacent to the Santa Fe Railroad at 102 O Street, Fresno, California. In 1895 he married Ora Smith. They lived at 2423 Inyo Street, also in Fresno.
