Description

Picture shows the campus of Fresno State College located on an extension of Van Ness Avenue. The college was moved to this location in September 1913 as Fresno State Normal School, which in 1921 was renamed Fresno State Teachers' College. The name was changed again in 1935, to Fresno State College, and in 1972 the school became California State University, Fresno. Constructed of red brick in the Spanish architectural style.
