Description

Picture of Canal Elementary School, built in 1907 in Western Stick archictural style near the intersection of Mendocino and Nebraska avenues, Selma, Calif., It was destroyed by fire in 1990. The Canal District was formed in 1878, joined the Indianola Union District in 1955, and ceased operations in 1956.
