Picture of Elkhorn Elementary school, built ca. 1886 near the intersection of Davis and Polk avenues, Elkhorn, Calif.in Western Stick architectural style. The Elkhorn District was created in 1886 and ceased operations in 1953, eventually merged with the Riverdale Joint Union School District in 1955.
