Description
Picture of Malaga Elementary School, built in 1922 near the intersection of Railroad and Central avenues in Malaga, Calif. The structure, built in 1922, replaced a four-room building destroyed by fire. Constructed with Romanesque Revival architectural elements. The replacement school was made of brick, cost $45,000 and contained six rooms. It was destroyed by fire in 1940. The Malaga District was created in 1885, and joined the Fowler Unified School District in 1965.
