Description

Picture of Orangedale Elementary School, located on Piedra Road, 4 miles north of Centerville. The structure was built in 1914, was last used as a schoolhouse in 1945, and was later converted to use as a private dwelling. Western Stick architectural style. The Orangedale District was created in 1914, and suspended in 1945. Its service area was then absorbed by the Centerville Union District, which was in turn incorporated into the Sanger Unified School District during 1965.
