Description

Picture of Riverdale Elementary School, built ca. 1880, located at Mount Whitney Avenue, between Cornelia and Braly avenues, near Riverdale, Calif. Western Stick architectural style. The school was vacated in 1941 and final disposition of the structure is unknown. The Riverdale District was created in 1878, and merged with the Glendora Joint, North Fork Joint, and Crescent districts to form the Riverdale Joint Union, which became later Riverdale Joint Unified District in 1941.
