Kaweah Post Office, North Fork Drive,Three Rivers. The Kaweah Cooperative Colony was a utopian project started in 1886. Unable to secure title to the land near Three Rivers in Tulare County, CA, the organization ceased to exist after 1892, leaving this tiny post office -- still in use in 2006.
