California Oilfields Limited, also known as Oilfields Limited, started in 1901 by William M. Graham from Pennsylvania who had knowledge of the oil business when he gained the support of Balfour, Williamson, and Company, the San Franciso branch of Balfour, Williamson and Co. of London England. It was sold to Shell in 1913.
