Thanks to a 30,000 donation from Andrew Carnegie this library branch served downtown Fresno from 1904-1959 at 1330 Broadway Street near Fresno Street. The building was demolished in 1959.
A Clovis horticultural exhibit circa 1914-1919 at the Fresno Fair. Different Valley towns would compete with horticultural booths displaying the fruits and vegetables available in their residence.
The Fresno Photo Theatre was located at 1130 J Street in between Mariposa and Fresno Streets. It was built on the land that had been occupied by the Grand Central Stables. It was built sometime after 1906.
