This time frame covers several significant moments in the County's history, including the County Centennial (1956), City of Fresno diamond jubilee (1960), the opening of the Fulton Mall, and the naming of the City of Fresno as an All-American City in 1967. It also captured the essence of the County's smaller communities prior to their rapid expansion, and the disasters of the 1983 Coalinga earthquake and 2020 Creek Fire.
