The Fox Theater in Visalia, CA, was constructed during 1929-1930, at the northwest corner of Main and Encina Streets.

The Fox Theater in Visalia, CA, was constructed in 1929-1930. The large home next to the construction site beloned to Mrs. Pennebaker (313 W. Main St.). The theater is located at 320 W. Main St.

Travis Mercantile Company, in Spa, California, housed the post office, also. It also held a branch of the Tulare County Library. The custodian was also the postmaster, station agent, express agent and storekeeper.

This is the wreckage of the Visalia & Tulare Railroad Company train at Caldwell's Corner, about 3 miles south of Visalia, in 1900. The accident occurred when the train ran into a cow on the tracks. The rails and rolling stock were later sold.
