The East Union School was built for the children of Linnell Government Camp in 1939.

This school district was functional from 1904 until 1947 when it became part of Visalia City Schools.

Yettem School evolved from the Churchill School District around 1912. It is now a continuation school in the Cutler-Orosi School District.
