Description
Fancher Creek Nursery lies east of Fresno, eight miles and compromises 649 acres of land, through which Fancher Creek runs. The nursery one of the largest in California was organized in 1884. Mr. F. Roeding is the land owner and his son, George C Roeding is the nursery man. There is an experimental orchard planted with every type of fruit tree, hot houses, and numerous other buildings. There is a 70 acre orchard of olives, six acres of orange trees around the house.
