A man and a boy pose with a horse drawn delivery wagon of "The Model Bakery". The Model Bakery first appears in the Fresno City Directory in 1907 located at 2037 Fresno Street under the management of George A. Garrett. By 1909 it appears in the directory as "The Model Steam Bakery" with locations at 2037 Fresno Street and 2422 Kern under the management of J.L. Ashton.
