Description

Picture of Big Sandy Elementary school, constructed in 1924 with the expenditure of $53,000. The Big Sandy District was formed in 1875, was united with the Auberry Union Elementary School District in 1947, which in turn united with the Sierra Unified School District in 1992. The campus was relocated to Auberry during the 1947 merger.
