Description
Picture of Raisin City Elementary School, located at the intersection of Manning and Arthur avenues, Raisin City, Calif. Shown in the picture are the first schoolhouse, at extreme right, built in 1908 in Western Stick architectural style, consisting of two rooms. On the left is a four-room additional building with Spanish Revival architectural elements, constructed in 1921. Both structures were razed in 1955 when the campus was modernized. The Raisin City District was created in 1908.
