This photo of a Union Army band is believed taken at the wartime location of Camp Babbitt in Visalia, CA. Located at its original site at what now is occupied by the intersection of Race and Santa Fe streets, the camp moved following the end of the war to what is now Houston and Ben Maddox avenues.
