A gathering of teenagers under the trees at Roeding Park approximately 1910. The park was the first city park in Fresno, located on the donated land from Frederick C. Roeding, designed by Johannes Reimas. City zoo originated here with donated animals. Roeding Park Zoo officially recognized in 1923.
