Description

Picture of Smith Mountain Elementary School, located near the intersection of Dinuba Road and Crawford Avenue, near Reedley, Calif. Constructed with Western Stick architectural style ca. 1903. The Smith Mountain District was formed in 1903, was united with the Alta and Mount Olive districts to form the Altamont District in 1920-1924, and finally became part of the Kings Canyon Unified, became later the Kings Canyon Joint Unified School District in 1966.
