Picture at the beginning of the Annual Sheepman's picnic. They put up the fence to keep out the public. Next to 2nd pole from right is Mr. & Mrs. Mouren. Bert Mehado is one of the men.
Mouren Farms would receive the parts for their harvester on the train. They put it together where they unloaded it. Southern Pacific Depot and Mouren warehouse is in the background.
Mouren warehouse on the right with the header to the harvest in front of the warehouse. The Southern Pacific Station in the center and sorghum wagons on the left.
The cooks shed have a smoke stack at the top, in front of the harvester is the water tank wagon. The cooks shed and water tank wagon would follow the harvester to the fields so the workers did not have to come all the way back into for lunch.
