A biographical sketch of C. H. Williams. Mr. Williams was the proprietor of a blacksmith and carriage shop in Fowler. He was also a City Trustee for Fowler. He was married twice. First to Rosa D. Schwartz, then to Emma K. Saunders.

John Swanson's cabin, built of oak logs in the late 1850s, was located on Visalia's East Mineral King Avenue. This structure now can be seen at the Tulare County Museum at Mooney Grove County Park in Visalia, CA.
This is the cabin that John Swanson built in the late 1850s in the Kelsey's Grove area east of Visalia, CA, along the side of what is now Highway 198. The cabin now is on display at the history museum located at Tulare County's Mooney Grove Park.
